Roofing Case Study – The Dolphin Hotel in Weymouth
Roof repairs carried out in Weymouth.
We were asked to replace a flat roof at the back of the pub, also to install three Velux windows.
First Bus kindly let us drop off some supplies by parking in their car park. The roofers had quite a challenge on their hands, we had to store the roof tiles and other materials in a very small area and they had to work around them.
We stripped off all the tiles and all wooden battens. We then removed the existing felt (membrane).
We then supplied and fitted breathable membrane and roof battens. Next we fitted the roof tiles and gutter trays. Also we put on new ridge tiles.
We replaced lead work.The landlord was very keen to have some velux windows fitted so we were happy to oblige.
